Where Paprika Revue House actually is

The venue is on Síp utca in District VII — the Jewish Quarter side of Budapest's inner city, inside the Nagykörút ring road and a short walk from the Great Synagogue on Dohány utca. It's a genuinely central address, but Síp utca itself is a quiet side street rather than a route most first-time visitors would walk down by accident.

Getting there from central Budapest

Deák Ferenc tér, where metro lines M1, M2 and M3 all meet, is the nearest major interchange and a short walk from the door. From most District V, VI or VII hotels, walking, a taxi or a rideshare are all straightforward — District VII's grid of streets is compact and well lit in the evening.

Why 8:00pm is worth treating as firm

Seating is shared and arranged facing the stage, and the room — which holds around eighty — fills close to the start. Arriving even fifteen minutes late risks being seated at the edges rather than close to the action, and unlike a restaurant with no fixed programme, the revue itself starts on schedule regardless of who has arrived.

Budgeting the whole evening

Between seating, five courses and a roughly fifty-minute show, the full evening runs to about three hours door to door. It is not the kind of booking to squeeze in before or after another fixed plan the same night — treat it as the evening, not part of one.

If you're coming from further out

Visitors staying outside the inner districts, or arriving straight from a day trip, should build in extra time for evening traffic around the Nagykörút and leave margin before the 8:00pm start rather than cutting it close — there is no later seating to fall back on if a taxi is delayed.
